We had the opportunity to be involved in one of the greatest successes in Finnish industrial history. The task was to change the safety culture of workers at the initiation of mining activities. During the first year, the accident frequency dropped to 35-2 (LTI), while at the same time significant improvements were made in the processes and the future of the mine was secured. My colleague Jari Tuulenmäki from WISE / LEAN Oy was responsible for the structure of the program. The program lasted three years, from 2015-2018. It has continued
